Itinerary
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by an escort guide (with sign name) and driver then transfer directly to the hotel for check in (Early check-in is NOT included & subject to hotel’s availability).

Start your day with a visit to the statue of King Mengrai, founder of Chiang Rai, then explore the historic Wat Phra Kaew, original home of the sacred Emerald Buddha. Next, dive into Lanna heritage at the Oub Kham Museum, home to ancient artifacts and the Golden Throne of Chiang Tung. Cross the Kok River to marvel at Wat Rong Suea Ten, known for its vibrant blue hues and detailed carvings. Discover Baan Dam (the Black House), with nearly 40 unique black structures showcasing fascinating collections of art, animal relics, and silver and gold items. Conclude with a scenic long-tail boat ride on the Maekok River, visiting the Karen Ruam-Mitr Elephant Camp and nearby hill tribe villages along the way.

After breakfast and check-out, we’ll head to the Opium House by the mighty Mekong River, where you can see the scenic meeting point of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos. Next, visit the ancient city of Chiang Saen to explore temple ruins and fascinating artifacts at the National Museum. After a local lunch, continue to Chiang Mai, stopping at the stunning crystal-white Wat Rong Khun, one of Thailand’s most beautiful temples. We’ll also visit Mae Kha Jan Hot Springs, where natural springs reach 80°C—hot enough to boil eggs in minutes! Then, arrive at your hotel in Chiang Mai for check-in and leisure time.
