Upon arrival at Luang Prabang airport, the former capital of the kingdom of Lane Xang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Transfer to hotel and free at leisure.

After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, embark on a boat journey along the enchanting Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves, home to myriad Buddha statues left by devotees. Take in the scenic beauty of riverside villages like Ban Xang Khong and Xieng Lek, where ancient weavers practice their craft. In the afternoon, delve into the rich tapestry of Laos at the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre, showcasing artifacts from diverse ethnic groups. Continue your cultural exploration with visits to the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Phra Bat, and the vibrant Night Market, where handcrafted textiles await.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the enchanting Kuang Si waterfall, one of Luang Prabang’s most picturesque gems. Enjoy a leisurely hike through the national park, passing by the Asian Bear Rescue Center and Butterfly Park, with an option to explore the waterfall’s summit for the adventurous. After refreshing in the cool waters, return to the city and visit Khmu village, renowned for its bamboo and thatch houses. Explore Ban Thapene, a H’mong village, known for traditional crafts like embroidery and weaving. End the day with a visit to the National Museum at the former Royal Palace and Human Chan, immersing yourself in the rich heritage of Luang Prabang.

After breakfast, free at leisure until we transfer you to the airport to take a flight to Vientiane, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
In the afternoon, delve into the captivating history and culture of Laos at the COPE Visitor Center and Museum, offering poignant insights into the impact of UXO on the country. Explore iconic landmarks like Wat Sisaket and Wat Prakeo, known for its myriad Buddha statues, before capturing the grandeur of the Patuxay Monument, which is known as a particular Laosian “Arc de Triomphe” on your way to the revered That Luang Stupa. Immerse yourself in the rich heritage and symbolism of Vientiane.

In the morning, we will visit Wat Si Muang, which is known for its supernatural power. Next, we will depart for the visit to Buddha Park, a charming collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on the banks of the Mekong, near the “Bridge of Friendship”. There are approximately 200 religious images more than 500 years old, which were created by a mysterious monk who extended his philosophy of life and revealed his ideas about the universe.
