Once known as <strong><em>\u201chell on earth\u201d,<\/em><\/strong> it was home to the <strong>Con Dao prison system<\/strong>, a reminder of the courage and sacrifice of thousands of Vietnamese patriots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con Dao has a mild climate all year round, with <strong>two distinct seasons:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>dry season (from November to April)<\/strong> offers sunny days, calm seas, and ideal conditions for exploring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>rainy season (from May to October) <\/strong>brings short, refreshing showers and marks the sacred time when sea turtles return to the island to lay their eggs \u2013 a rare and touching natural event in Vietnam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, Con Dao is not only a place of remembrance and gratitude but also a <strong>peaceful retreat where nature and the soul connect<\/strong>. Its ancient forests, pristine beaches, and shining coral reefs create a gentle harmony that soothes anyone who visits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A trip to Con Dao is a chance to listen to the sound of the waves, breathe in the fresh air of nature, and find inner calm once again.
