Itinerary
In the morning, we will pick you up at HouayXay immigration office (Lao border).
After getting the VISA, guests will take a sharing transfer (minivan) to the slow boat pier to embark on the boat. Before reaching Pakbeng, we will stop to visit a traditional Kamu village (Ban Houa Phalam), a tiny cozy place which hosts about 90 families. Travelers will learn about rural lifestyle in a remote area. The boat will arrive at Pakbeng before night.

Embark on a scenic boat journey from Pakbeng at 8 am, surrounded by the enchanting nature and jungle landscapes. In the morning, our guide and chef showcase the art of crafting Laotian desserts and local beverages, later savored during the afternoon. The first stop at Ban Baw village, home to a harmonious blend of Lao Loun, Shan, and Tai Lue ethnicities, renowned for its Lao whiskey. Indulge in a traditional Lao lunch on board.
In the afternoon, explore the Pak Ou Caves (Tham Ting) with over two thousand Buddha statues, a significant pilgrimage site for the Lao people. After the visit, enjoy homemade desserts and drinks. The boat gracefully arrives in Luang Prabang before 4:30 pm.

After breakfast, transfer to Bamboo Weaving Experience cooking class. Dive into Lao culture through a traditional cooking class and a bamboo weaving workshop, where you’ll learn about bamboo’s vital role in Lao life. Create your own woven bamboo mat, cook delicious dishes like bamboo shoot soup and steamed bamboo in banana leaves, and savor your culinary creations in a rustic pavilion overlooking rice fields. Enjoy cultural performances, including bamboo dancing and music from the Hmong Khen instrument.
In the afternoon, explore Luang Prabang’s rich history at the National Museum in the former Royal Palace. Continue to the Human Chan Heritage House for a glimpse into local daily life before admiring the city’s stunning temples—Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong, home to the dazzling “Tree of Life” mosaic.

After breakfast, delve into the enchanting Kuang Si waterfall, where a leisurely hike through the national park unveils breathtaking scenery. Along the way, visit the Asian Bear Rescue Center, home to rescued Asiatic Black Bears, and learn about their conservation efforts.
For the adventurous spirits, follow the trails to the top of the main waterfall and be rewarded with panoramic views and a sense of serenity. Take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear turquoise pools, perfect for cooling off—though from November to January, the water offers a brisk and invigorating chill. After breakfast, we will embark on a journey to the ancient wonders of the “Plain of Jars”, an awe-inspiring archaeological site where hundreds of massive stone jars are scattered across the vast plateau. We set off on our journey to Vang Vieng. This small and tranquil village is rapidly developed with the advent of tourists, but the beautiful scenery with a mixture of quiet water and limestone outcrops unchanged for centuries. Depending on roads and traffic conditions, we will arrival in Vang Vieng in the afternoon.

Breakfast at the hotel, heading out to visit Tham Chang (Jang) cave – one of the most important caves of Vang Vieng as well as a temporary home for farmers who grow vegetables nearby. You will see crystal clear water running out of the mountain into the river, charming landscapes of the villages and rice fields.
We then go to the famous Blue Lagoon for relaxing, swimming in the crystal water, and visiting a few weaving villages before we continue to take a boat ride along Nam Song River to explore the wonderful spectacular scenery, and limestone formation and take beautiful photos of the mountainous countryside. After that, we will enjoy the leisurely boat along the Namsong River while admiring the sun setting behind the mountains.

After check-out, in early afternoon, we travel by road to Vientiane. The capital city of Laos is located on the banks of the Mekong River.

In the morning, we will visit Wat Si Muang, renowned for its mystical powers and spiritual significance. Then, journey to the captivating Buddha Park, a riverside sanctuary adorned with over 200 intricate Buddhist and Hindu sculptures. Created by a visionary monk, this park reflects his philosophical insights and universal beliefs, offering a serene and thought-provoking experience.
In the afternoon, explore the city’s iconic landmarks, starting with Wat Sisaket, home to thousands of tiny Buddha statues, and Wat Prakeo, once the sacred sanctuary of the Emerald Buddha. Continue to the That Luang Stupa, Laos' most revered national monument, before capturing stunning photos at the grand Patuxay Monument, often called the Laotian Arc de Triomphe. End your day with a breathtaking sunset over the Mekong River, the perfect finale to this enchanting cultural journey.
